An unidentified man flashes what is believed to be his body temperature — 36.1 degrees Celsius or 97 degrees Fahrenheit — from the window of his room at an isolation ward at Madrid's Carlos III Hospital on Saturday. A spokeswoman for the hospital said Spanish nurse's aide, Teresa Romero, the first person known to have contracted Ebola outside Africa, remained in serious condition Friday but could give no further details.

The hospital says there are 14 people in its isolation unit, including Romero, her husband and health workers who had cared for Romero since she was admitted on Monday.
