The water crisis in Flint and the search for solutions will be the focus of a town hall meeting Wednesday night, hosted by Rachel Maddow.

Flint Mayor Karen Weaver and Dr, Mona Hanna-Attisha, whose independent research uncovered the lead poisoning emergency, are among the guests at the special event. Some Flint residents have organized viewing parties to watch the town hall.
Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder, whose has been under fire for his handling of the emergency, said during a Wednesday morning press conference that he does not plan to attend but would be doing "telephone" town halls with Flint residents.
