French special intervention police conducted a house-to-house search in Longpont, a village northeast of Paris, for two heavily armed brothers suspected in the terrorist attack at the offices of the Charlie Hebdo magazine on Thursday. Officers scoured several towns and villages in the French countryside after the suspects behind the attack which killed 12 were spotted at a gas station in Villers-Cotterets.
