This chilling photograph obtained by NBC News shows the horror inside the offices of Charlie Hebdo after it was hit by a deadly terrorist attack in Paris on Wednesday during the satirical magazine’s morning editorial meeting. Twelve people were killed in the assault.

Eight were employees of or contributors to the magazine. Anti-terror forces were scouring the French countryside outside Paris on Thursday in hopes of capturing the suspects,brothers Cherif and Said Kouachi.
