United States' Arielle Gold is assisted after dislocating her shoulder in a crash prior to the women's snowboard halfpipe qualifying during the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics on Feb. 12. The 17-year-old was considered a serious medal contender this year after winning a bronze medal at the 2013 Winter X Games and taking first place at the 2013 FIS World Championships in halfpipe.
