Obama, World Leaders Meet to Discuss Russia

President Barack Obama met with allies in the Netherlands on Monday to discuss a response to Russia's annexation of Crimea.

The most industrialized nations in the world – known as the Group of 7 –were gathered for a nuclear summit, but took a break from those discussions to develop a response to Russia’s incursion into Ukraine. The group announced they would no longer participate in the planned G8 summit in Russia in June. Instead the nations declared they would meet in Brussels without Russia.

Monday’s meeting took place in the The Hague, Netherlands while the leaders were gathered for the Nuclear Security Summit.
