Ukraine Separatists Dismantle Barricades in Eastern City of Mariupol

Pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine began taking down barricades Tuesday in an apparent easing of the deadly tensions seen in recent weeks.

The armed groups who have occupied government buildings across the Donetsk and Luhansk regions began dismantling their positions in the southern city of Mariupol after a referendum Sunday that they claim returned an overwhelming vote to join Russia.
