At last, there's a way to outdo your "Star Wars" nerd friends and your watch nerd friends — at the same time. A new timepiece from luxury watchmaker Devon takes design cues from the movies' Empire, all ridged black metal and high contrast. There's a touch of the TIE Fighter, a bit of Darth Vader's helmet, and, although only true fans will notice, the Imperial crest at the bottom of the watch.

The face of this timepiece is similar to previous watches Devon made, utilizing a unique belt system that has the numbers crawl by in various directions. It sounds confusing, but in fact it's pretty straightforward to read — although not so much to design and manufacture. This highly complex and limited-edition watch (only 500 will be made) is going to run you $28,500.

You could almost get a used X-wing for that money, but for many "Star Wars" and wristwatch aficionados, price is no object. And who can resist the complimentary TIE Fighter cuff links that come with?
