Early-adopting couch potatoes can now order the new-and-improved Apple TV and get their devices by the end of the week.

Like the old Apple TV, the new model lets people stream their favorite shows from services like Netflix and Hulu on their television sets. What sets the latest generation of Apple TV apart are features like the touch-sensitive remote control, Siri-powered voice search, a more powerful processor, and improved gaming capabilities.

The new Apple TV starts at $149 for the 32-gigabyte model. (The old version can be purchased for $69). For people who order on Monday, they can receive their Apple TV in a week with standard shipping, or they can choose next-day shipping and open their package on October 30 — perfect for streaming scary movies on Halloween.

Since the Apple TV was announced in September, a number of other companies have released streaming devices: Google unveiled the latest version of its $35 Chromecast, Amazon released a new Fire TV, and the 4K-capable Roku 4 was launched.
