If you truly love taking selfies, you know that the quality of the front camera is clutch for a great shot. Sony's latest smartphone, the Xperia C4 PROselfie, features an extra-wide-angle lens on the front shooter, hopefully making it unnecessary to employ a selfie stick. The 25mm-equivalent lens also has a flash, naturally, so you'll be well lit-up.
Apart from that the phone is of the phablet variety, with a 5.5-inch, 1080p screen, an octa-core processor and a 2600 mAh battery — making it competitive with the high end of phones out right now.
But if you like the look, you might want to hold off for a week or two. Sony is rumored to be announcing its next flagship phone, the Z4, before the end of the month. And if you're impatient, you can always pick up the well-reviewed Z3, which lacks the PROselfie prowess of the C4 but makes up for that by being waterproof.
The Xperia C4 will be available in "select markets" in June. Keep an eye out to see if your wireless carrier will have it.
