The Apple Watch is hitting Target in time for the holidays.
When the gadget first hit stores in April, it was available for purchase only through Apple.com pre-orders. Over time, customers were able to walk into an Apple Store or Best Buy and take one home -- and now Target is getting in on the action, the company announced Friday.
Target will sell 20 different Apple Watch models in both the 38-millimeter and 42-millimeter sizes, starting on Target.com on October 18 and in all stores by October 25. A few locations will have them in stock this week.
Target won't be selling the high-end models, like the 18-karat rose gold Apple Watch Edition, which sells for $17,000. Instead it will focus on watches that cost between $349 to $599.
It's not clear how big of a seller the Apple Watch will be this holiday season. But the holiday numbers for the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus could be huge, considering 13 million of them sold in their first weekend on the market.
