There are certain hazards intrinsic to the practice of flying an expensive drone over a field crowded with rowdy kids — like one of those kids downing your craft with a soccer ball launched by an well-timed drop kick. That's just what happened to this DJI Phantom 3 being piloted by New Zealand video team KOR Creative. It was part of a shoot being done for Rosmini College in Auckland.

"Working with kids has its consequences," read the KOR post accompanying the video above. Amazingly, the company told New Zealand's TVNZ that the drone was undamaged, and no students were struck — so they put the craft right back into the air.

This isn't the first time a drone has been knocked down while filming, of course — not by a long shot. In the last year we've seen them taken out by hawks, shotguns — even chimpanzees.
