Snapchat users, it's time to up your selfie game. On Tuesday, the company announced new "lenses" for animating images and the ability to purchase "replays" to look at videos and pictures over again.

The lenses work when taking a selfie with the front-facing camera. Click down on your face and Snapchat will give you several quirky animations -- including a futuristic display, the wrinkled face of your older self, and the ability to vomit rainbows -- to transform your photos and videos (a.k.a. "snaps").

Snapchat also is letting people replay snaps that they like ... for a price. Normally on Snapchat, users can only look at a photo or video once before it's off limits forever. Snapchat gave out one replay a day, but there was no way to get more.

Now users can fork over $0.99 for three extra replays, which can be used once, and can't all be used on the same snap.

"They’re a little pricey — but time is money!" Snapchat wrote on its blog.

The company also introduced trophies in the form of colorful emoji that users earn for completing different tasks.
