Facebook Lets You 'Say Thanks' with Personalized Video Cards

Facebook users now have a fancy way to say, "thank you," replacing the old method of writing "k thx lol" on someone's wall. They are called "Say Thanks" cards and Facebook users can start making them today. Like the wildly popular "Look Back" videos that Facebook unveiled earlier this year, the "Say Thanks" cards are basically photo montages paired with sentimental music and cute animations. "Share a Say Thanks video with a close friend, your significant other, a relative, a coworker, an old friend — or anyone else in your life who you’d like to celebrate," the company wrote in a Facebook post. "There is no limit to how many personalized videos you can create and share." The new feature rolls out for mobile and desktop on Wednesday in eight languages.
