Most public figures spend years building their social media profile. But just 12 hours after setting up her first Facebook page on Sunday, Hillary Clinton had stormed to 600,000 likes and more than 1.8 million video views.

The latest candidate to throw their hat into the ring for 2016, Clinton used her foray onto the world’s largest social network to provide something of a chronology of her life.

Using Facebook’s ability to backdated posts, her updates go back to October 26, 1947, the day Clinton was born. They continue through her personal and political milestones and culminate in her candidacy announcement.

The page was set up at around 3 p.m. ET on Sunday. In just 12 hours (by 3 a.m. ET Monday) Clinton made up most of the ground to Rand Paul; the Republican senator from Kentucky is also running in 2016 and has more than 670,000 Facebook likes.

She still has some way to go to catch the other confirmed candidate, Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who has almost 900,000 Facebook likes.

Clinton joined Twitter in April 2013 and has around 3.3 million followers.
