That’s one way to show off your new outfit. An Illinois woman was arrested for shoplifting clothing and jewelry after posting a selfie on Facebook in which she was wearing an allegedly stolen dress, according to police in West Frankfort, Illinois. Danielle Saxton, 27, was arrested July 11 after Morties Boutique co-owner Gay Morton learned of the Facebook post from an Internet user that day and reported the theft to the West Frankfort police. Saxton was charged with theft under $500 and failure to appear in court for an unrelated pre-existing warrant, said John Hampton of the West Frankfort police department. Morton, the store owner, said she installed security cameras just two months ago because of potential shoplifters. “I thought [shoplifting] was going on, but I just couldn't catch it,” said Morton, who runs the store with her son. The two also own a real estate company in town. Saxton’s theft was the second incident of shoplifting in the store, located in downtown West Frankfort, a town of about 8,100.
