An updated version of "Batman: Arkham City," one of 2011's most critically and commercially successful titles has been announced by Warner Bros Interactive. Dubbed, "Game of the Year Edition," it arrives in North America on May 29 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
The package contains the original game along with a host of additional content, including all the downloadable content packs that followed the original game's release, as well as the new story mission, "Harley Quinn's Revenge" DLC:
According to Warner Bros Interactive:
The DLC included on disc includes the Catwoman Pack, Nightwing Bundle Pack, Robin Bundle Pack, Challenge Map Pack and Arkham City Skins Pack. All told, Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition packages new gameplay content, seven maps, three playable characters, and 12 skins beyond the original retail release.
"Harley Quinn’s Revenge" is the recently announced epilogue to the game's primary story that has Batman and Robin attempting to shut down the mega-jail once and for all. In addition to the new storyline, there will be new environments and Harley's all-new gang of thugs to deal with.
The Harley Quinn DLC will be available to all current owners "Arkham City" on April 30; it will also be pre-loaded in the "Game of the Year Edition."
