Sprint's EVO 3D bulked up and added a dimension

Sprint

The next generation of Sprint's popular EVO is here and it's a 3-D device. But that gimmicky feature aside, it's a pretty powerful-sounding gadget.

The HTC EVO 3D has a huge 4.3-inch display which will allow you to view 3-D media without needing 3-D glasses. Underneath that it has a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor, 4GB internal memory, and 1GB RAM. On the back there are dual 5-megapixel cameras. On board will be Android 2.3 Gingerbread with an HTC Sense skin.

The device will be able to serve as a hotspot for up to eight Wi-Fi-enabled devices — using either a 3G or a 4G connection.

The EVO 3D will be available sometime this summer and pricing will be announced once the launch date is closer.
