Civil Rights attorney Ben Crump has been retained by the family of Brianna Grier, a 28-year-old Black Georgia woman who died after falling out of the back seat of a moving police car during a mental health crisis. Georgia’s Bureau of Investigation says that the rear door was “never closed” but said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.July 29, 2022
