Author and social scientist Charles Murray has written a new book based on the idea that the cultural divide between America’s upper middle class and working class is greater than it has ever been. The book’s title alone, “Coming Apart: The State of White America 1960-2010,” has generated controversy. Murray is no stranger to controversial ideas. His book “The Bell Curve” examined variations in intelligence across socioeconomic and racial lines. Murray sits down with Brian Williams to explain his latest theory.
