Ulrich Boser, author of “The Gardner Heist,” has closely followed the 1990 theft of 13 masterpieces from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. Boser explained the most likely scenario that led to the FBI’s $5 million reward for the paintings’ return.
