Questions swirl as former Nissan chairman Carlos Ghosn flees to Lebanon from Japan


Neighbors and well-wishers gathered outside a Beirut property believed to be owned by Carlos Ghosn after the business executive fled to Lebanon from Japan. Ghosn was on bail in Tokyo over charges of financial misconduct as head of carmaker Nissan, but insists he was facing “political persecution.” It’s still unknown how he escaped the country with no passports.
