The skies above Rome have been painted red, white, and green for the country’s Liberation Day, although the streets underneath remained empty due to the coronavirus lockdown. It’s the 75th anniversary of Italy’s liberation from fascism in the Second World War, and despite the restrictions, people still found ways to celebrate.
