The Japanese government has officially approved "HAL", or "Hybrid Assistive Limb", which is aimed at people who have difficulty walking due to nervous system disorders and other diseases. The robotic suit will be available to consumers at about 20 Japanese hospitals next month.Nov. 11, 2015
