Judge sentences Cardinal Pell to 6 years in prison for child sex abuse

Cardinal Pell, 77, the highest-ranking Catholic cleric ever convicted of child sex abuse, was sentenced to 6 years in prison in his native Australia. Pell, who until this year oversaw the Vatican's finances as its prefect of the Secretariat of the Economy, was convicted in December of molesting two choir boys while he was archbishop of Melbourne.
