Back in 2021, while reporting on the 272 slaves sold by Georgetown University to three sugar plantations in Southern Louisiana in 1838, Stay Tuned's Maya Eaglin discovered a 6-year-old named Harriet Eaglin. Harriet was listed on the records of the historic transaction, which begged the question if Maya and Harriet were related.
