President Trump says he misspoke on Russian election meddling, has 'full faith' in American intelligence agencies
During a meeting with members of Congress, President Trump clarified his statements during his summit with Russian President Putin in Helsinki when he cast doubt on the findings of U.S. intelligence agencies on Russian election interference. Trump said he misspoke and assured that he has “full faith and support” in American intelligence. He said he accepts the conclusion of Russian interference, but also diverted the blame to “other people” as well.
