San Diego Mayor Bob Filner has agreed to resign in the wake of a sexual harassment scandal, provided the city covers his legal fees. Although some have expressed concerns about that caveat, it’s likely the city would have had to cover the costs regardless. If Filner does resign, a special election is expected to take place within 90 days to name the new San Diego mayor. NBC’s Joe Fryer reports.
