If you looked up in the sky Sunday night, you might have caught a glimpse of the stunning “supermoon.” What’s known as a “supermoon” occurs when the moon comes closer to the earth than usual, making it appear 16 percent larger than the average full moon. People from all over the world captured the lunar event and took to Twitter and Instagram to share their photos. The next “supermoon” will be on November 14th.
