‘The First Ladies’ make a debut at the Smithsonian

Today, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History opens an exhibit called "The First Ladies," a collection of gowns worn by our presidents' wives. The tradition of displaying First Lady dresses dates back to 1914. Curator Lisa Kathleen Graddy, Deputy Chair, Division of Political History, explains the significance of the exhibit.
