Thousands protest in Hong Kong after Beijing proposes new security bill


The streets of Hong Kong were filled with angry voices as pro-democracy protests started once again. After months in which the coronavirus outbreak forced demonstrators to stay indoors, Beijing’s proposal to enact sweeping changes to Hong Kong’s security legislation sparked a massive march through the city, that was met with police water cannon and tear gas.
