Tony Blair, former prime minister of the United Kingdom, discusses problems political leaders face as the world emerges from The Great Lockdown, including the conundrum of mitigating economic fallout while keeping people safe and healthy. “We needed to terrify people sufficiently to get them to obey the lockdown, but you’ve got to also help people to understand that there is a limit to how long you can go on with this,” he says in an interview with NBC News global correspondent Matthew Price.
