Wuhan residents remember ‘whistleblower’ doctor one year after his death


Residents of Wuhan, China, have marked the death of a doctor who tried to warn the city about Covid-19. Dr. Li Wenliang succumbed to the disease he warned against, but not before police reprimanded him for “spreading rumors” when he raised the alarm about the mysterious new illness.
