Mindfulness program empowering students expands beyond Baltimore (Part 2)

The nonprofit behind Baltimore’s groundbreaking school yoga program is expanding to serve students in the Akwesasne Mohawk territory along the U.S.-Canada border. Principals say they’re noticing a difference in their students’ behavior and stress levels as a result. One of the program’s founders tells NBC News’ Rehema Ellis that it’s all about helping students “connect to something bigger than just their neighborhood.”
