Lizzo has announced a new shapewear line, Yitty. Named after Lizzo’s childhood nickname, Yitty is a collaboration with Fabletics, an athletic wear company whose sports bras we’ve recommended. Lizzo told CNBC that she used to wear corsets and girdles to school to contort her body. Now, her take on shapewear embraces body positivity. “I started to have fun with creating different shapes and silhouettes and looks and realized, ‘Oh, this is actually not a bad thing if I’m not doing something bad to my body,’” she said. Yitty’s first three collections — Nearly Naked, Mesh Me and Major Label — will launch April 12.
