This lightweight loose setting powder by Laura Mercier is my setting powder of choice. It keeps my oily skin shine-free and my makeup intact for a long time — according to Sephora it lasts for up to 16 hours. You can find it in three shades, including Honey and Medium Deep.
Continuing on the theme of setting your makeup, this Urban Decay setting spray is something I use daily after applying my Laura Mercier powder. It keeps my makeup fresh and helps to avoid creases and lines from forming. You can find it in three sizes, including a 1-ounce Mini and 8-ounce Jumbo option. And if you could use a new eye shadow primer, check out the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer is something I've been using for over four years. It includes a triangular tip to line and fill in sparse brows, or ones that could simply use a touch up otherwise, without having a consistency that's too thick. It comes in 12 colors, including Ebony and Strawburn. You can also add more detailed lines to mimic natural hair growth by using the Brow Wiz, another favorite of mine. When you're done, set your brows using the Brow Gel.
If you have dry skin, you may want to consider this Tatcha moisturizer. It earned the Clean at Sephora badge, which means it's free of 50 pesky ingredients like parabens, mineral oil and formaldehyde. Instead, it is formulated with Japanese purple rice, Okinawa algae blend, hyaluronic acid and ginseng for antioxidants and hydration. If you have oily skin or large pores you may prefer this water-based option. Plus, check out the popular Silk Canvas Protective Primer, that plays nicely with oily, dry, normal, sensitive and combination skin types.
This Nécessaire body wash is what associate editor Nicole Saunders uses as part of her body care routine. “There’s something instantly refreshing and spa-like about soaping up in a sandalwood-scented body wash,” Nicole Saunders wrote. The body wash includes Niacinamide to clean and balance your skin and is vegan and cruelty-free. It also comes in a few scents like Eucalyptus or Fragrance Free.
This Charlotte Tilbury lipstick is long-lasting and features a matte finish. It includes orchid extract to soothe your lips and 3D glow pigments, and smells a little bit like cocoa butter. It also includes a rectangular tip for easy application to line and fill your lips. Plus, you can find it in over 15 shades, such as Scarlet Spell, a limited-edition berry, and So 90’s, a nude-brown.
7. Foreo Luna 3
This device is the newest addition in the Foreo Luna lineup and offers the deepest clean. It removes sweat, dirt and oil, can help prevent future breakouts and you can get 650 uses from a single charge. Additionally, the device works in one minute and includes 16 pulsating intensities. According to the brand, the Luna 3 also features softer and longer touch points compared to the Luna 2. You can also find the Luna 3 in combination and sensitive skin options.
This Alpha-H nighttime treatment could be the newest addition to your bedtime routine. “This serum delivers two forms of retinol in a clean formula that contains a blend of emollient botanical oils that help maintain skin hydration and minimize potential skin irritation,” Joshua Zeichner, MD, a board-certified dermatologist previously told Shopping. The retinol serum can help improve signs of aging, large pores and uneven skin texture.
If you’re looking for a new vacuum cleaner, air purifier or a blow dryer, recommended by celebrity hairstylists, Dyson may come to mind. The Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer features a sleek, futuristic design and comes with three magnetic attachments: a smoothing nozzle, diffuser and styling concentrator. It’s also equipped with three speed settings and four heat settings. “Not all hair is created equally and one of the things I love about the Dyson Supersonic is that it’s designed for different hair textures and styles,” wrote one Shopping writer.
“There's no need to invest in a full set of silk sheets. The rest of your body won't benefit the way your hair and face will,” said Deanne Mraz Robinson, MD, a board-certified dermatologist. This gentle, queen-sized silk pillowcase is hypoallergenic and dust mite-resistant. It can help prevent bedhead and sleep wrinkles. Plus, it comes in a dozen colors, including Rose Gold and Plum and you can pair it with a Slip Silk Sleepmask.
The Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 is a pH-balanced treatment that works to strengthen and restore your hair, and is a Shopping reader-favorite. You can apply the product weekly to all hair types, including straight, wavy, coiled and more. You can also pair it with the Olaplex No. 4 Shampoo and No. 5 Conditioner.
This Huda Beauty eyeshadow palette is highly versatile and features neutrals, warmer colors and sparkly options. It's cruelty-free and sports 18 shades, including Passion, a shimmery pink and Naughty, a matte mahogany for smoking out your crease shade.
Part of my nightly routine, the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask works to soothe and moisturize dry lips. It includes Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid to help lock in moisture. Plus, it smells like raspberries and strawberries and comes with a tiny brush for you to apply the mask easily.
This Estée Lauder serum includes hyaluronic acid for hydration and works to reduce signs of aging by targeting dullness and wrinkles. It's gentle enough to apply it in the morning and evening. You can get it in four sizes from a 0.24-ounce Mini size to a 3.9-ounce Value option. Also consider pairing it with Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream, which utilizes similar ingredients formulated for your gentle under-eye area.
Retinol is "the gold standard in correcting the signs of skin aging," Caroline Robinson, MD, a board-certified dermatologist and CEO of Tone Dermatology, previously told NBC News Shopping in our guide to using retinol. This serum by Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare uses retinol and ferulic acid for smoother skin and sun damage protection. It's vegan and cruelty free and you can apply it in the morning and at night.
