There's only a few hours left of Prime Big Deal Days, and while you may be restocking on last-minute essentials or buying from your wishlist during the 48-hour sale, which is exclusive to Prime members, you’ll also find a few novel products in the mix. Think animatronic ghosts, café-inspired cat homes and magnetic socks. But to be fair, who doesn’t love adding a few strange and gloriously weird items to their cart?

Some of these finds make excellent gifts for friends and family with a sense of humor, or they’re simply an excuse to copy the link and send it to your group chat. Either way, some may sneakily find their way into your cart (they’ve made it into ours, too). Each product I recommend below is highly rated and 20% off or more.

The weirdest things we found on October Prime Day

Wrap yourself in this tortilla-inspired throw blanket to make yourself a real-life burrito. It’s machine-washable and made from super soft flannel fabric, plus it’s lightweight enough to use during every season.

This electric ice cream maker can make classic soft serve, gelato or frozen yogurt in 20 minutes, according to the brand. It’s a fun tool for the hosting season, especially since it looks like an old-fashioned wooden bucket.

Another spooky item for the Halloween season, this “grime steeper” tea infuser lets you fill it with your favorite loose leaf tea, suspend it into hot water and enjoy. You can set the scythe on the rim of your mug to keep the infuser in place. The silicone tea infuser is dishwasher- and microwave-safe, too.

This cat bed has room for your cat to play, exercise, scratch and sleep. The cat cafe can fit up to two cats, plus it’s easy to assemble and comes with multiple scratch mats and accessories, according to the brand.

Ototo is basically royalty when it comes to novelty items — the brand makes a Dracula-inspired garlic crusher, a Nessie ladle and silicone spoon rest in the shape of a crab, to name a few (I have the latter two products and can attest they’re as cute as they look). These on-sale kitchen scissors are shaped like a bat, which makes them perfect for the spooky season.

This travel-friendly, octopus-shaped blackhead remover is formulated with marine plant extracts and charcoal to absorb excess oil from your pores, according to the brand. The solid balm turns into gel upon skin contact and reviewers love how easy it is to move around the face, thanks to the stick-like applicator.

These adorable socks have magnetic “arms,” so they hold hands when close. Gift them to your other half or your favorite couple.

If you ever wanted a hot dog and crisp bun cooked in a pinch, this kitchen gadget is your answer. It has adjustable settings that cook two regular-sized hot dogs and buns simultaneously to your preference.

Help relieve the aches and pains of periods with this lobster-inspired weighted heating pad. You can heat it up for about a minute in the microwave, then shake it to evenly distribute the heat, according to the brand. Plus, it’s lavender scented for stress relief.

Now is the perfect time to get last-minute Halloween decorations, like life-sized animatronics from Haunted Hill Farm (many of which are currently on sale). This 6-foot ghost bride is sound-activated and has built-in LED lights, making for a thrilling jump scare at your next spooky gathering.

This miniature dumpster serves as a holder for your pens and pencils. It embodies the phrase dumpster fire, including flame shaped notecards to write down all your burning thoughts, according to the brand.

If you have an Amazon Echo Dot (or are buying one today on sale), this baby Yoda-inspired stand can help add personality to the smart speaker. Reviewers say it’s durable, non-slip and a great gift for the Star Wars fan in your life.

Bored at home or school? Challenge your friends and family to a game of tabletop basketball. Flick & Swish comes with a mini court and hoop — simply position your basketball on the launcher, use one finger to press down and release to shoot your ball. The included point tracker keeps score every time someone makes a basket.

A functional gadget that doubles as a kitchen decoration, this bicycle-shaped pizza cutter has two nonstick, stainless steel “wheels” that effortlessly cut through dough. It also comes with a stand to easily display it on your kitchen counter.

Transform your room into a sky full of stars with this astronaut-shaped projector. It projects nine nebula effects accompanied by twinkling green stars (project them together or separately), which makes for a stunning night light or ambient lighting. You can set the timer for 45 or 90 minutes, after which the projector automatically turns off.

The star of this set is a 3-inch goat figurine that sits on a tree stump base — when you give him a gentle press, he lets out a lifelike goat scream. It’s a great gag gift or a funny addition to your office desk (and can serve as a stress reliever, too). It comes with a mini illustrated book of fun facts and trivia about the farm animal.

Turn coffee or tea time into a game with this building block mug. It comes with three packs of building blocks (the packs are random, which makes it all the more fun to build), and it can hold hot drinks up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit.
