I tested the Ninja Creami against four alternatives, and it ended up being my favorite of all the appliances I tried. It makes it easy to turn almost anything into a homemade ice cream, gelato or soft-serve treat and it has a function that lets you add mix-ins like chocolate chips. It’s easy to clean, includes a recipe guide and comes with pints so you can save your creations.
This versatile coffee maker makes both hot coffee and coffee meant to be brewed directly over ice. In addition to brewing multiple servings of drip coffee into a carafe, it also makes 6-, 8-, 10-, and 12-ounce servings of coffee. It also has a descale function and a feature that lets you increase the brew strength. You can also program it to make coffee ahead of time.
Perfect for dorm rooms or apartments with small kitchens, the Keurig K-Express makes 8-, 10- and 12-ounce servings fast. It has an auto shut-off feature that activates five minutes after brewing coffee, and it also has a function to increase the brew strength. It also has a 42-ounce water reservoir and you can remove the drip tray for tall mugs.
This slow cooker from Crock-Pot is great at making large servings of soups, stews, chilis, whole chickens, roasts and more, which is useful when hosting parties. It has low and high cooking functions on the dial, as well as a function to keep food warm. The lid and the ceramic insert are both dishwasher safe.
