When Team USA takes on its gold medal defense in London in 2012, don't expect Mike Krzyzewski to be prowling the sideline.

Two USA Basketball officials told the New York Times that it was 'unlikely' Krzyzewski would return as head coach of the team. Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni were mentioned by the Times as possible successors.

Krzyzewski also coaches Duke's men's basketball team. Under his guidance, Team USA went undefeated throughout Olympic play in Beijing and beat Spain, 118-107, to win the gold.
