Thousands of Frigidaire and Kenmore stoves are being recalled due to a fire hazard.
Consumers should stop using the ranges immediately and contact Frigidaire at (800) 449-9812 to schedule a free repair.
This recall involves electric ranges with rotary knobs and digital displays.
The surface heating elements turn on spontaneously and fail to turn off after being switched off, or heat to different temperatures than selected.
The company has received 126 reports of incidents, including four reports of minor burns and two reports of minor property damage.
The ranges were sold by national chains, including Sears, and independent stores around the country between June 2001 and August 2009.
