Law enforcement officials say a pickup truck rammed into the back of an Amish buggy in northeast Ohio, ejecting three siblings and killing them.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says 13-year-old Mary Yoder was riding with her two older siblings in a horse-drawn carriage Thursday night when the truck hit the buggy in Holmes County, according to The Repository newspaper.

The patrol says 14-year-old Fannie Yoder and 15-year-old Ivan Yoder died at the scene. Mary Yoder died Saturday at Akron Children's Hospital.

The driver of the pickup told police he couldn't see the cart because of glare on his windshield from the setting sun, the paper said. Neither he nor his passenger were injured.

The crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.

The Amish are a religious group that has resisted many modern conveniences.
