SANTA ANA, Calif., Sept. 7, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BioCentric Energy Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets:BEHL) President, Monique Berry provided the following shareholder update:

"The BioCentric Energy technical team spent last week in Death Valley Junction cleaning the CAB's (controlled algae basins) from debris, water and mud. The team collaborated with an electric company to create a trench for the electrical wiring that will operate the skids and other components. In addition, the team transported and installed 2 large tanks from Pahrump, Nevada to the DVJ site. The metal building adjacent to the algae farms was cleaned and is being prepared to house the laboratory and other support functions. Following the holiday weekend, the team will return to Death Valley Junction to work and continue with the installation. The team will also be transporting two additional tanks that require permits and a large transportation vehicle. A building contractor will be on site by Thursday to refurbish BEHL's modular house that will serve as the Company's office and guest quarters. The Company will be installing a satellite camera that can be viewed from any location in the world. Since this is a client site, access to this live web cam will be limited; however the client may allow the Company to provide weekly snap shots to BEHL shareholders."

"On the BEHL sales front, the Company is working to finalize and close several client contracts this quarter. Such contracts consist of: Kuehnle (the Hawaiian company), several large client / projects through BEHL's VAR (value added reseller) Ms. Venus Brightstar and 10+ acres of PBR systems for a Southern California Native American Indian Tribe. The Company is also in the process of preparing a $20+ million business plan that will be submitted this week for an economically challenged State located in the South. More details on this potential deal will be provided to shareholders as things progress."

"At the BEHL headquarters, the staff is gearing up for deployment of large volumes of algae inoculum. The Company's R&D Manager, Helmut Gass completed the construction of a 250 volume cube last week that will serve as a large algae cultivating and storage unit. This manual cube is complete with the basic yet necessary components that will allow the Company to easily test the pH levels, the temperature and verify the algae growth. After spending a few short days in the cube, the algae will be transported into the PBR systems at the BEHL headquarters and the DVJ site. Mr. Gass anticipates building 2-3 more cubes later this week that will be used to hold the scale up inoculum for a a multitude of algae strains. Also back at the BEHL headquarters, the Company's lab technician, Ms. Judy Quang, is working diligently to finalize her report on contamination as well as the procedures and protocols manuals that will be used for training. The procedures and protocol manuals will be readily handy and required on all BEHL commercial sites."

"The Company is in the process of cleaning out the large commercial demo PBR system at BEHL headquarters in Santa Ana, California. Although cleaning out the PBR is tedious work, the team is excited and eager to inoculate and grow Haematococcus pluvialis. This alga strain, (Haematococcus pluvialis), when stressed, contains the highest levels of the valuable Astaxanthin. The Company anticipates keeping the live web cam on for shareholders to view the cleaning, sterilization and inoculation process. However it may be turned off temporarily if proprietary work is being performed."
