ANDOVER, Mass., Sept. 28, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dynamics Research Corporation (Nasdaq:DRCO), a leading provider of innovative management consulting, engineering, and technology solutions to federal and state governments, today announced the successful launch of the Tennessee Family and Child Tracking System (TFACTS) supporting juvenile justice case management, bringing new capabilities to Tennessee caseworkers and replacing the legacy system, TNKids.

"Working in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Children's Services and Office of Information Resources to achieve this important milestone on schedule and within budget is a testament to the outstanding commitment demonstrated by the Department's representatives and the DRC team," said Jim Regan, DRC's chairman and chief executive officer.

Designed around Tennessee's family-centric practice model, the system supports all federal requirements including the National Youth in Transition Database. Supporting approximately five-thousand statewide users, TFACTS interfaces with several other state systems, supports third party tools, includes graphical representation of family relationships, and provides an integrated geographic information system, which allows caseworkers to identify support resources based on their proximity to children and their families. Integrated document management improves records management, reduces printing requirements, and allows offices to transfer documents electronically.

The launch of TFACTS is the culmination of a 28-month joint effort with the Tennessee Department of Children's Services and marks DRC's fourth automated case management system launch, including Ohio, New Hampshire and Colorado.
