W.W. Grainger Inc., a supplier of industrial maintenance and safety products, said Friday that daily sales in October rose 11 percent compared with a year ago.
Results were helped by acquisitions and a contribution from foreign exchange rates.
U.S. sales rose 8 percent and Canada sales rose 16 percent, the company said.
