All changes will be effective after the close of trading on Friday, December 17, 2010.
In the Dow Jones Financial Services Titans 30 Index, Mega Financial Holding Co. Ltd. (Taiwan, Financial Services, 2886.TW) will be replaced by BlackRock Inc. (United States, Financial Services, BLK). Mega Financial Holding Co. Ltd. is being removed due to a change in its Supersector classification from Financial Services to Banks, according to the Industry Classification Benchmark (ICB). The free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones Financial Services Titans 30 Index increased to US$572.62 billion from US$563.87 billion.
In the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Utilities Titans 30 Index, Lanco Infratech Ltd. (India, Utilities, 532278.BY) will be replaced by Tauron Polska Energia S.A. (Poland, Utilities, TPE.WA). Lanco Infratech Ltd. is being removed due to failure to meet index requirements. The free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones Emerging Markets Utilities Titans 30 Index increased to US$101.11 billion from US$90.78 billion.
In the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Technology Titans 30 Index, HCL Technologies Ltd. (India, Technology, 532281.BY) will be replaced by Vanceinfo Technologies Inc. ADS (China, Technology, VIT). HCL Technologies Ltd. is being removed due to failure to meet index requirements. The free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones Emerging Markets Technology Titans 30 Index increased to US$111.69 billion from US$89.71 billion.
In the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Health Care Titans 30 Index, Lupin Ltd. (India, Health Care, 500257.BY) will be replaced by Life Healthcare Group Holdings Ltd. (South Africa, Health Care, LHC.JO). Lupin Ltd. is being removed due to failure to meet index requirements. The free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones Emerging Markets Health Care Titans 30 Index increased to US$49.17 billion from US$45.93 billion.
In the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Industrials Titans 30 Index, Grasim Industries Ltd. (India, Industrials, 500300.BY) will be replaced by CITIC Pacific Ltd. (China, Industrials, 0267.HK). Grasim Industries Ltd. is being removed due to failure to meet index requirements. Remgro Ltd. (South Africa, Industrials, REM.JO) will be replaced by Imperial Holdings Ltd. (South Africa, Industrials, IPL.JO). Remgro Ltd. is being removed due to a change in its Industry classification from Industrials to Financials, according to the Industry Classification Benchmark (ICB). The free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones Emerging Markets Industrials Titans 30 Index decreased to US$149.33 billion from US$151.90 billion.
In the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Financials Titans 30 Index, Arab Bank Place (Jordan, Financials, ARBK.AJ) will be replaced by Remgro Ltd. (South Africa, Financials, REM.JO). Remgro Ltd. Industry classification changes to Financials from Industrials, according to the Industry Classification Benchmark (ICB). The company meets index eligibility requirements for inclusion in the Index. Arab Bank Place is being removed because it no longer meets index eligibility requirements for inclusion in the Index. The free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones Emerging Markets Financials Titans 30 Index decreased to US$538.74 billion from US$544.07 billion.
In the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Consumer Goods Titans 30 Index, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (India, Consumer Goods, 532500.BY) will be replaced by Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (Thailand, Consumer Goods, CPF.TH). Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is being removed due to failure to meet index requirements. Steinhoff International Holdings Ltd. (South Africa, Consumer Goods, SHF.JO) will be replaced by Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. Ltd. (China, Consumer Goods, 2238.HK). Series B (Mexico, Consumer Services, SORIANA.MX) will be replaced by Steinhoff International Holdings Ltd. (South Africa, Consumer Services, SHF.JO). Organizacion Soriana S.A.B. de C.V. Series B is being removed because it no longer meets index eligibility requirements for inclusion in the Index.
