Hooper Holmes Names Drs. Singh and Thomas to Key Lab Director Roles for Heritage Labs

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Apr 12, 2011 -- Hooper Holmes today announced the appointments of Gurmukh Singh, MD, PhD, FCAP, MBA, CPE, as Lab Director and Patricia A. Thomas, MD, MA, FCAP, FASCP, as Assistant Lab Director for Heritage Labs International.

In his new position, Dr. Singh will oversee all day-to-day pathology-related matters at Heritage Labs, including the quality and compliance of our products and services. Dr. Singh will also serve as a liaison to current and prospective customers. Dr. Thomas, a world renowned researcher and professor of anatomic pathology and cytopathology, will serve in an advisory capacity with a focus on new lab product development.

Dr. Singh is the Director Clinical Pathology of the Truman Medical Centers and Professor of Pathology at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, School of Medicine, Kansas City, MO. Dr. Thomas is an Associate Dean and tenured professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
