Rising bilingual singer Karen Rodriguez is officially a signed artist.

"I am truly humbled to be welcomed to the Roc Nation Latin family," said Rodriguez on an Instagram post.

Rodriguez hit the national spotlight when she first appeared on Season 10 of American Idol. She also became the first bilingual finalist on the show. After her stint at American Idol, Rodriguez had the opportunity to sing background vocals for Puerto Rican salsero Marc Anthony's "Vivir Mi Vida," song.

But, most recently, she is known for her ‘Spanglish’ covers of popular songs. The songstress made a ‘Spanglish’ cover of Adele’s “Hello” and it garnered over 10 million views on Youtube. She is also known for her translations of Drake’s “Hotline Bling,”and Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself.”

Roc Nation Latin is a new full service entertainment division by Roc Nation that focuses on developing Latinx talent. In early June, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z’s Roc Nation appointed bachata sensation Romeo Santos as CEO of this division. Also, Johnny Marines, Santos’ longtime manager was named Roc Nation Latin President.
