President Obama took a break from tackling immigration reform, the Middle-East crisis, the VA scandal and other headaches to cheer on Team USA during the second half of their World Cup match against Belgium.
This photo was tweeted by White House photographer Pete Souza and shows Obama with White House staff enjoying the second half of the game in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, next to the White House.
We can say "enjoying" because the score was only 0-0 at the time. When he arrived he said, "I was worried if I walked in and Belgium scored, I'd be in trouble."
Before the match, Obama tweeted "Go Team USA" with a picture of a soccer field that said "United" on it. Obama did not stay through the end of the game, and he has not released any official comment since the heartbreaking 2-1 loss in overtime.
