The search for Jensen Loo, Clint Oshima and Derek Tomas, all 30, intensified Tuesday after their 20-foot boat was found capsized about 25 miles off the North Shore of Oahu, according to the Coast Guard.

On Monday, four men took out a 30-foot boat to help with the search and tow back the capsized 20-footer — but their boat began to sink during the amateur mission, and the four boaters had to abandon their vessel.

The Coast Guard diverted resources from the earlier search to rescue three of the men, and the fourth man was able to swim to shore. One of the men is being treated for hypothermia, according to the Coast Guard.
