A woman who didn't realize she was pregnant until her third trimester delivered a 14.1-pound baby boy in Florida on Friday, according to hospital officials. The newborn, Avery Denton, now holds the record for largest baby born at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in Tampa, the hospital said in a statement. "Even more amazing is that his mother didn’t know she was pregnant until her third trimester," the statement added.

The surprised mom, Maxxzandra Ford, told NBC affiliate WFLA that she didn't suspect she was pregnant until she started rapidly gaining weight in the fall. Once she did find out though, she thought she might be having twins because she is a twin herself and the weight came on so fast. Her other two children were also big at birth, at 9 and 10 pounds, but Ford suspected that her third would be heavier. Avery was delivered naturally. "When I felt his head come out, I knew he was bigger than 10 pounds," Ford told WFLA. "I was cussing up a storm."
